I have some more photographs of the Peterhof Palace. I uploaded the photos while in port – with FREE (and fast) wi-fi connections! I took some time exposure photographs of the fountains – that’s why they look extra spectacular from a normal exposure. I hope you like them./rl This is the main fountain in front of the palace . . . it’s SUPPOSED to be Hercules (or Atlas) wrestling an alligator’s jaws. What it looks like, from the angle of the photograph is – Hercules washing his privates! Sorry for that, but it was the only vantage point I could find. Anyway – here is another fountain, in the beautiful garden. The other photo shows that even a balcony was gilded in gold!
