St. Petersburg, Russia / revised

I have some more photographs of the Peterhof Palace.  I uploaded the photos while in port – with FREE (and fast) wi-fi connections! I took some time exposure photographs of the fountains – that’s why they look extra spectacular from a normal exposure.  I hope you like them./rl 0 fount 3This is the main fountain in front of the palace . . . it’s SUPPOSED to be Hercules (or Atlas) wrestling an alligator’s jaws.   What it looks like, from the angle of the photograph is – Hercules washing his privates!   Sorry for that, but it was the only vantage point I could find. Anyway – here is another fountain, in the beautiful garden.  The other photo shows that even a balcony was gilded in gold! 0 petrhof balc    0 petrhof fount2

  1. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
    Appreciate it
